Bluehat Group is delighted to be nominated yet again for Best Team Building Event at this year’s Evcom Awards.
This year Bluehat Group have delivered an increased number of facilitated team building days where clients are given a day of creative events and interesting sessions tailored to specific objectives. After receiving fantastic feedback from these events it is no surprise that this year Bluehat Group’s unique ‘Motivating Self and Others’ workshop has been nominated for The Evcom’s Best Team Building Event 2013.
The creative and bespoke team building event was produced by Bluehat Group for their client QinetiQ – one of the world’s largest defence contractors – and was nominated by Evcom for it’s clear objectives and for putting team building events into context. The workshop was designed to encourage experimentation with new ways of working in a sector where risk taking is not an option by looking at the delegate’s role in delivering success and planning.
QinetiQ’s typically conservative, detailed and introspective employee characteristics were a big influence in the way that this event was created. It is not unusual that delegates with a preference towards detail and control can become frustrated and disengaged with team building activities, so being able to demonstrate the benefits of active conferences which go beyond the classic theatre style, darkened-room powerpoint presentations was achieved by creating a bespoke experience made up of a selection of engaging and reflective activities. With Bluehat Group’s high quality delivery and matching the procedural standards expected of the client, delegates were able to fully immerse in the activities without distraction.
