Home to the Queen and Reading City FC, Berkshire is the ideal location for your next team building event. Close to London, it has lots of gorgeous countryside and is easy to get to (in Berkshire, you can’t get further than 8.5 miles away from the M4!)
Across the county there are some great venues – from Reading’s Madejski Stadium to Newbury Racecourse and Cliveden House Hotel to the Thames Valley Science Park. All you need to decide is which of the Blue Hat team building events is right for you and your team.
Back in the 9th Century, Alfred the Great was fighting over this land and Berkshire has been the scene of many historic battles. Could you pit your team’s wits and come out victorious? Why not try the Crystal Challenge or Roman Races? Follow the Oxbridge lead and put your team through their paces in a Raft Building Challenge on the Thames.
Fancy livening up your staff conference or training? Blue Hat has a range of ice breakers and energisers that are perfect for pepping up a group session; try Revitalise or Mexican Railway to bring staff back into the room and get them working as a team.
Plenty of Blue Hat Team Building events can be tailor-made to your local area; why not hold a Reading-themed Team Quest or Code Overload around Bracknell, or an Apprentice-style charity challenge around Slough’s busy shopping district?
Whatever your budget or ambitions, Berkshire has some amazing venues to suit you and your team; from Reading University to the many conference centres and rooms around Bracknell, Slough and Reading, Blue Hat can recommend a venue that is just right.

Beat the Clock for Visa at Newbury Racecourse.
VISA were hosting their biennial conference for 1000 delegates at Newbury Racecourse in Berkshire.
As part of the event, they wanted a fun and engaging activity to bond team members and help reinforce key conference messages. Due to their large numbers, they had been unable to find a suitable activity, until that is, they called Blue Hat.
Based on the group demographic, the timings and the space at the venue and the client’s success criteria, a recommended shortlist was put forward and the activity, ‘Beat the Clock’ was selected. The flexibility of Beat the Clock in terms of space required, short set up time, being scalable to unlimited numbers, having the ability to be tailored to each specific client and of course being great fun for all involved meant it was the perfect team building activity.
The event was a huge success and saw every one of the 1000 delegates fully involved and engaged in the activity.
