Guinness World Records Showcase is a Record Breaking Success
Team-building specialists Bluehat Group, showcased its selection of exclusive GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS Team Challenge activities for the corporate world last Thursday (25 July) at De Vere’s West One venue in central London.
The evening saw more than 50 guests take part in the activities, which ranged from stacking polystyrene coffee cups as high as possible in one minute, to the fastest time for passing and wearing eight t-shirts around eight people. Kuoni Events, Barclays, M&G Investments, Citigroup and TESCO representatives were amongst the guests that attended the event to experience the unique record-breaking team challenge first hand and assess its suitability for future conferences.
Charlotte Cornwallis, Head of Sales for Bluehat Group said, “The showcase was designed to reach out to the industry to increase awareness of and share this officially amazing event. We achieved that 100% and the buzz post event from our clients was incredible!”
Groups of eight people were each given a world record challenge. After a set time to perfect their technique, the groups were timed and assessed by an official Guinness World Records representative. Not only did the showcase receive outstanding feedback from the activity, the event also witnessed a brand new Guiness World Records Record.
The coffee cup stacking team triumphed the previous record by stacking their tower, which stood for five seconds, to a height of 213 cm – beating the previous day’s record holders from Barclays by a whopping twelve centimeters.
Charlotte continues, “Everything about the showcase was successful. The Guinness World Records brand is something that everybody recognises and with our expertise in team building, there isn’t another event like this”.
