Team building events often look the same, how do I choose which to go for?
When booking an event, as the booker, you are putting your reputation and trust in the hands of the company you engage to deliver the activity. Most people rely simply on the internet to help their search. Others are fortunate to receive recommendations from their colleagues. But how about taking a different approach?
You wouldn’t buy a car without taking a test drive and you are unlikely to buy a house that you haven’t viewed, so why not meet the team and see the equipment in action before your make a decision?
At Blue Hat, we offer an open door policy and welcome any clients to visit us and see what we are all about.
On arrival you will be met by your Account Director who will show you around and introduce you to our team:
Our founders – Ben Parkinson (Commercial Director) and Neil Harvey (Creative Director) will be delighted to meet you and be happy to answer any questions you may have and show you the Blue Hat difference.
Our creative team – the brains behind our events. You are likely to see them in action as they constantly refine existing activities and design and manufacture equipment for new experiences for clients in our workshop (as seen in this video). You can challenge them on ideas for your event.
Our project managers – the team who hold your hand in the lead up to your event. They may be on the phones finalising the logistics for a client experience or overseeing the preparation and loading for an event leaving the next morning. Either way, they’ll make time to talk you through the process.
Based on a farm near Hertford, a visit to Blue Hat will allow you to experience first-hand what our events entail in one of our demonstration areas. You can ‘try before you buy’.

- A financial services client who recognised the quality of our kit and the wide range of unique events available and subsequently appointed Blue Hat as a mandated supplier.
- A leading event management agency that used the opportunity to capture images for their website leading to a long term relationship with multiple events per year.
- A corporate client seeking inspiration for their graduate program who left with so many ideas they were struggling to choose the best one and in the end chose 4!
