The Concept

The clock is ticking! You have 4 rooms to get through before “Time’s Up!”. The winning team has the most points at the end of the game. To escape each room, you need to solve puzzles and complete tasks to earn clues to work out the solution to unlocking each door. Success in these activities earn points, as does speedy progress, but carelessness loses points and hinders progress.

How It Works

Each team has up to 6 people. 1 person is Team Captain. After a plenary briefing by our host on your preferred conference application (we recommend Zoom or Microsoft Teams) you disperse into breakout rooms to work together. The Team Captain downloads the game on their smartphone and shares their screen with the rest of the team, so everyone sees the 1 game.

Your first room is dark and dank. You have 4 Task icons and 6 puzzles. By clicking on them, their challenge is revealed. It could be a logic puzzle, a creative task, a team picture to create, a cunning conundrum or a board game avatar to collect… there’s something for everyone.

Each successful accomplishment earns points and clues. Once you have done all the Tasks and at least 3 of the puzzles, the golden key can be used to enter the codeword you deduce. If you are correct, you escape and face the deeds designed to get you out of the next dreadful and dilapidated room…. Through all four rooms to freedom!

We ensure you always have a professional, problem free and seamless experience

We always have 2 staff running the event. Our main host or “Presenter” will guide your people through the agenda, relax and reassure your team and be the face of the game.
Behind-the-scenes is a second member of our staff who is the “Techy”, there to seamlessly take over should there be a problem with the Presenter’s internet. The Techy is also available to join any team to help sort out a technical issue or advise a user on how to make the tech work.

Prior to the event, we do a Captain’s Briefing where we take one designated member of every team that participates, through the game step by step so that on the actual event they are prepared, know what they are doing and thus help to create a seamless, stress-free experience.

We can even personalise the event visuals to your company brand…so it truly has your company touch.

An amazing virtual escape room for our new graduate cohort as part of a Team Working Day. The staff at Blue Hat made sure everything ran smoothly, both in the preparation and during the session. The grads loved the experience, feedback included “The virtual escape room was surprisingly engaging and felt very similar in teambuilding to an in-person escape room.
